Museums Talk: From Germany

Istanbul Modern’s “Museums Talk” series continues to invite guests from Germany in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Istanbul. Ellen Blumenstein, Chief Curator of the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, will be sharing her experiences on May 24.

Istanbul Modern’s “Museums Talk” program aims to establish a new conversation platform between leading international museum directors and museum audiences in Turkey. Following the USA and the UK, the program continues with Germany.

In collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Istanbul, “Museums Talk: From Germany” invites museum directors and curators from art institutions in Germany to discuss the German models of museums and art institutions.

Ellen Blumenstein, Chief Curator of the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, will share her experiences and discuss whether museums are mediators or producers of culture.
