Through letters between her parents, photographs, and footage from the family archives, she reveals how her parents lived together under the same roof. By pushing its audience to reflect on the fundamental conflicts in modern Iranian history, from pre-revolutionary times to the present day, this documentary offers an intimate and humane perspective, challenging the Western media’s inhumane portrayal of this political situation.
